Description

The Western Association of Schools and Colleges have accredited MTI College of Business and Technology as a junior college. It offers day/evening classes, classroom, and distant education modes of learning. It is a Microsoft IT Academy Partner. Its Paralegal programs are approved by the American Bar Association.

The faculty members are practicing attorneys, paralegals and other experts in the legal fields who are experienced and qualified. Financial aid such as Federal Pell Grants, Federal SEOG Grants, Federal Stafford Student Loans, Federal PLUS Loans, State and Private Grants, Federal Work Study and Institutional Loans are available. It has an extensive library that students can conduct researches etc.

It offers a two-year Associate's Degree paralegal studies program, as well as a diploma program for Legal Administrative Assistants that can be completed in 36 weeks. It also offers an Online Paralegal courses option for students in their second year of degree and the students are provided with 24/7 access to the LexisNexis online research tool, which is paid for by the college.

The students of the Degree program have to take general education and business classes in the first year and the legal specialty classes in the second. There are nineteen legal specialty classes are offered and about six are elective classes. The programs also train them in requirements established by the California State Bar for admission to law schools.
